Folk Soap Collection

Folk Soap is a self directed project inspired by botanicals & folk music.
I wanted a project to demonstrate my ability to illustrate surface design,
well as demonstrating botanical illustration because it’s something I gravitate towards drawing.

Each scent within the collection is named after classic folk / rock song.
Scarborough Fair by Simon & Garfunkel with its famous line “ Parsley Sage Rosemary & Thyme”
Crimson & Clover by Tommy James & The Shondells
A taste of honey by The Beatles

I needed a name logo to go with the idea so I hand drew the logo in procreate to create this curly cursive type.
